* The Facts:
In 1874 - As a consequence of the long judicial process, which lasted three decades and dictated the demise of the Quintela-Farrobo house empire, the Calçada do Alecrim Palace was sold by public auction and was bought by the capitalist and Commander Francisco Augusto Monteiro, The "Monteiro dos Millões", inherited from his parents a large family fortune, built by his maternal grandfather who had a monopoly on the trade in coffees, precious stones and maritime transport between Brazil and Portugal. His son, António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro, gathers in the Palace his library and valuable collections of Art and Natural Sciences (entomology, malacology, ornithology, herbarium). Its collection of Lepidoptera (butterflies) the 2nd most extensive in the world consists of many thousands of species, some collected by António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro himself, in the Palace. The malacological collection (molluscs) had about 10,000 species. The herbarium will be considered precious, and, also very relevant, the collection of hummingbirds.
In 1915 - The Portuguese Instrumental Museum is installed in the Palace, with a collection of about five hundred Musical Instruments.

Artistic Story:
All events with a touch of poetry drive the Butler to serve us this History full of Surrealism... it is not a Gaseous Tea, nor a Port Wine, but a Living Tea, made of Dry Herbarium, which becomes Vivificante and Liberator, Where Butterflies fly with bright Hummingbirds, once inert and inane, pollinate flowers that were once dry, flying through the Palace to meet the most diverse Musical Instruments, feeling a special charm for a Guitar-Harpa Hybrid where they perform beautiful musical encounters...
