Master Artist, Designer & Contemporary Stained Glass Artist

A precocious artist
Sónia Domingues — a multi‑award‑winning artist, was born in France.

She was still a young girl when she moved to Portugal, and it was early on that Art became an integral part of her life.
At the age of fourteen, she was invited to take part in what would become her first Group Exhibition — a moment that opened the path for the young artist to discover herself within the fascinating universe of the Arts.

From the age of sixteen,

she felt an even deeper calling — as if Art itself were inviting her to become her personal and professional fulfilment.

From that point forward, she embarked on a journey of discovery, theoretical study,
technical training, hands‑on practice and refinement across multiple branches of the Decorative Arts, both in Portugal and abroad, with the purpose of becoming fully proficient in materialising her vivid mental creations. This path, shaped by curiosity, discipline and sensitivity, paved the way for the international projection of her work, which over time would come to find expression in diverse contexts and geographies.

Throughout her life and artistic career,

she has also enriched her knowledge and refined her vision in other fields, undertaking several “Immersions of Knowledge” in areas such as Financial Markets, Positive Psychology, Neuroscience and Integrative Medicine. She believes that every form of learning can provide a stronger foundation for the construction and blossoming of a more meaningful and radiant art. She understands that the interconnection between different universal themes can profoundly enrich her creative expression, reflecting her commitment to embracing new perspectives and conveying deeper messages through her work.

Creative Effervescence
Owing to her effervescent creative nature,
her artistic plurality reveals itself in the development of an eclectic and singular style, marked by a profoundly contemporary artistic spirit. Her work embraces the Figurative, expressed through a language that moves between Impressionism and Expressionism, with a prevailing Symbolist undertone. Cubism, Geometric Abstraction and Futurism appear as gentle spices. Her artistic cocktail also includes Art Nouveau, Pop Art and Conceptual Art, without forgetting the subtle aroma of Surrealism.

Thus, at times, a single creation may bring together several styles in harmonious coexistence, always guided by the same essence: to elevate and ennoble the beautiful — the beauty inherent in all that exists!

Breadth of Artistic Concept
Beyond the creation of new works, collections and exhibitions, she also develops tailor‑made art
across multiple surfaces, such as canvas, wood, moisture‑resistant MDF, stainless steel, plaster, fabric, natural leather, eco‑leather and interior blinds. She employs mixed techniques adapted to each medium, ranging from oil and acrylic to resins, pastels, LED polymerisation, and the inlaying of gold leaf, silver and Swarovski crystals. She also integrates the stained‑glass approach, to which she seeks to give a practical dimension, applicable both in new constructions and in rehabilitation projects. Her creations may manifest themselves on main façades, interior and exterior spaces, sliding doors, shower panels, floor glass, mirrors, screens, skylights, staircases, railings or cladding panels, in a profoundly contemporary spirit — from Minimal to Eclectic, from Art Deco to Art Nouveau — in all types of dimensions and formats, up to the maximum safety limit.

Throughout her artistic journey, she has also participated in the creation and design of prototypes in the fields of entertainment and image consulting, developing fashion accessories and artistic interventions in both women’s and men’s ensembles — including refined work in Nail Art.

Artistic Recognition

Recognised and honoured by curators, art critics and distinguished institutional figures — among whom stand out Dr. Michele Miuli, Roberto Chiavarini (Accademy – Italy in Art in the World), Vittorio Sgarbi, José Van Roy Dalí, Salvatore Russo, Francesco Saverio Russo, Marco Travaglio, Moni Ovadia, Sandro Serradifalco, David Guido Pietroni, Viviana Puello, Yadira Roman, Baroness Jiselda Salbu, Arbe Espe, among others — her art and vision have given rise to numerous solo and group exhibitions across several countries around the world. In recognition of her talent, her work has been documented and published in more than sixty books and magazines within the cultural and artistic sector, accumulating, to date, over eighty‑five international awards.

finding its place throughout mainland Portugal and its islands, and resonating across many corners of the world — Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, Denmark, the United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea, Dubai, Brazil, Norway, Finland, Angola, Mozambique, Timor‑Leste and Japan.

In every place where it is encountered, her work presents and preserves the same essence:
