The Facts & the Artistic History*
In 2014 - Quintela Palace is reborn, however, keeping the original traits, faithful to the historical past and intending to develop an original and unprecedented concept for the capital.
In architecture Frederico Valsassina conceived a project where the classic and the modern were in harmony. The decoration of the space was done by the architect Catarina Cabral, who looked for sober and timeless pieces that could integrate the ambience of the Palace without overlapping with the grandeur of its details and frescoes.
In 2016 - The history of this exquisite Palace remains and resumes in 2016 as an escape from the daily routine, in an "extravagant escape to banal".
In the renovated Chiado Palace, the centenary rooms now offer high-quality alternatives and other entertainment options for the day-to-day life of the Lisbon capital, and of those who visit it. Assuming itself as a reference space in the cosmopolitan city, it unites history and modernity in a timeless way.
Artistic History*
The Butler, about to bid farewell... rises to the Palace Dome, where he adjusts, rolls... and... serves us symbolically 3 of the many Charms of the Palace, from the Winged Lion, to the Stained Glass, not forgetting the Portuguese Sidewalk - the pavement in 5 Star shape.
